If you and the franchisor are happy to continue then you’ll move on through…

• Next is to read over and sign the draft franchise agreement
• Booking training and paying the initial fee to secure your franchise
• In class pre-training
• Online training – both Class Practitioner Training and Business Induction
• In class post-training including running at least one whole class
• Order class equipment (this has a 6-8 week lead time)

Alongside this, you would start to set up your business systems – website, email, social media and booking system. You’ll organise your insurance, music licence, equipment storage etc.

You would also start to advertise your classes ready to open bookings after passing your training.

This seems like a lot of steps, and it is! Launching any business requires hard work, time, energy, and commitment. However, you won’t be alone. The beauty of a franchise means you’ll have continuous support from your franchisor, every step of the way.

How long will it take?

This is more difficult to answer. Typically it will take around 6 months from the initial investigation stage to launching classes. Although it could be a little quicker, or a little longer.

It depends upon how much time you dedicate to the initial steps, how long it takes to secure funding, whether you have a job with a notice period.
