Supporting growth and development with research-backed activities that parents trust and babies love!

Baby Sensory® provides ideas for creative play, massage, tummy time, movement, visual development, textures, scents and music in simple, practical ways that can be easily repeated at home. We also use a combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes to develop early speech and language skills, and sensory signing activities to help parents and babies communicate from birth.

Why Parents Trust and Babies Love Baby Sensory

⭐What makes Baby Sensory® unique is that every activity has been carefully designed to stimulate baby’s senses and move development and learning forwards.

⭐Behind every Baby Sensory® class, there’s an incredibly detailed lesson plan developed using over 40 years of child development research and learning.

⭐Our lesson plans provide information about the developmental benefits of the activities, and we love sharing this information with our parents. The lesson plans also act to further enhance the knowledge of the class practitioners, by deepening their understanding of a baby’s growth and development week by week.

⭐Each Baby Sensory® class combines developmental and sensory play in our specially designed sensory and exploratory play areas. This sensory development approach allows time for parents to enjoy one-to-one, and group activities with their babies, as well as being able to socialise with other parents whilst their babies explore and play.

What Our Parents Say

“I cannot recommend this class enough! I have loved every minute of baby sensory with both my children. My daughter loves Amy’s class and I love watching her explore, learn and play. It’s a lovely way to bond with her and I cherish all the memories of us together at baby sensory. Amy is so welcoming and the classes give mums/dads a sense of belonging and common ground at a time that can be quite isolating. Thank you Amy ❤️”

“I’ve been bringing my daughter to baby sensory classes in Woolaston since she was just weeks old! And now she’s over 8 months. She really loves it – it’s such a varied class and there’s so much to engage the babies. Amy creates a really friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere and we will both really miss going once our sessions are finished. I highly recommend this class to anyone! Thank you Amy! XXX”

What Could It Mean for You?

Franchise Support Includes:

A Week in the Life of a Franchisee

Here’s Lorna’s week, running Baby Sensory Cardiff West:

Monday

Classes in Barry today, wahoo! Lorna is there at 8:45am setting up ready for classes to start at 9:45am. She runs three classes here and is packed up and ready to head home at 3pm. Any class washing that needs to be done is sorted, then the rest of the afternoon and evening is family time.

Tuesday

Same as a Monday, but this time in Penarth, yay!

Wednesday

Family day. She’ll often head out to a class with her younger daughter, or meet up with some mum friends after dropping her older daughter to school. This is a perfect opportunity to drop off some leaflets and posters in local cafes and libraries etc.

Thursday

Admin day. She’ll get the week’s social media posts scheduled in, and answer any emails and messages that have come in. As it approaches the middle of the term, she’ll start getting the next term’s class timetable organised, and re-booking emails drafted.

Friday

Kit packing day ready for the next week of classes, so she doesn’t need to think about it over the weekend. Just like Thursday’s admin, this is fitted around playtimes and school runs. Later in the day she’ll check her emails and work messages.

Weekends

There’ll be the odd message or email to pick up, but other than that it’s all about family time. Occasionally she’ll have a party or weekend special booked in.
