Thinking about starting your own WOW franchise?

I believe in complete transparency when it comes to costs and earnings.
Here’s everything you need to know to decide if this is the right business for you.

Earning Potential

Your income comes primarily from weekly classes, with the option to add extras like parties or seasonal events, and, depending on the programme, sessions for nurseries and schools.

Whether you want to work part time for flexibility, or build a full-time business, you’re in control.

The income potential is quite literally in your hands. So much is based upon the effort and energy you put into running outstanding classes and providing your customers with incredible experiences, the number of classes you decide to run, and the time and effort you dedicate to marketing and finding new customers.

To give you an idea of the typical range of incomes; we have franchisees who run two days of classes, fitting in with family life while their children are small, who turnover £30k to £40k per year. At the other end of the scale are franchisees who are running quite big businesses, maybe with a permanent venue and a class leader, and running 4 or 5 days of classes per week, who turnover in excess of £100k per year. It is important to note that turnover is money through the door, not income. All business costs would be deducted from the turnover to get your income amount.

I have developed programme specific spreadsheets to help you create an example plan of your ideal business, understand the costs involved and the potential earnings. You can find the spreadsheets towards the bottom of this page.

You can use the numbers from the programme specific images below to feed into the spreadsheets.

Upfront Costs

Starting your own WOW franchise requires an upfront investment for your initial fee, and bespoke class equipment.

The initial fee includes your exclusive territory licence and full training.

The investment differs depending on the programme, as shown below.

The initial fee is higher for Baby Sensory as it is a much more established programme. The amount, and type of kit required for each programme drives the difference in this cost.

Ongoing Costs

Once you’re up and running, just like any other business, you’ll have regular costs such as franchise rental, venue hire, insurance and marketing. These are all part of running the business – and I’ll help you plan for them.

Know Your Number

Everyone’s lifestyle goals are different. That’s why it’s so important to know how much income you need to contribute to your household each month, before you start to look at the business numbers.

Want to know if the numbers add up for you?

Download the relevant programme specific spreadsheet so you can model your own income and expenses. Enter your class numbers, prices, and costs – and see how it stacks up for you.

Not everyone is a fan of spreadsheets which is why I’ve included step by step instructions in each one.

If you prefer I can help guide you through the process. I am passionate about making sure every potential franchisee has had all their questions answered before they take the next step.
